Commentators on a recent opinion piece I published in the IndyStar seem to think so.
I may be the first person in history to point out that the welfare system creates a work disincentive and be called socialist for it.

Well according to at least one of the people who read your article, even me, a gun loving, hard working, anti-abortion, liberatarian leaning republican is now a socalist. Simply because I chose to pursue advanced education at SPEA.
