I'd like to send along a hearty congratulations to long-time TPS reader Thomas Johnson, who recently won the Chookaszian Prize, "given annually to the student or group of students at the Kellogg School of Management who have written the best paper in the area of financial risk management." The web page for the award is here. Tom's winning paper: "Approximating Optimal Trading Strategies Under Parameter Uncertainty: A Monte Carlo Approach"
Great job, Tom! Can we claim this as some shameless self-promotion? You bet!
