With much less sophistication to my belief, I concur, the stimulus plan will fail. As well, I am not entirely certain some in DC have not already planned for its failure and who to blame when it does.
I found this post and the article the pointer brought me to very interesting. Richardian equivalence seems at least as good a reason if not better than this old joke:
Question: What is the opposite of "pro?" Answer: "Con" Question: What is the opposite of "progress?" Answer: "Congress"
