Gas prices fell for the first time in two weeks on Friday. For months (actually, years) I've been seeing commercials from presidential candidates blaming high gas prices on greedy CEOs of oil companies with record profits. So I guess the explanation for the price fall is that they must have woke up Friday morning and felt like they had enough, and could lower prices a smidgen.
Of course, their level of greed is probably constant, but I hope that it is very high so that they continue to compete and place pressure on gas prices to be lower than they otherwise would be.
