For elementary and middle school students, only homework grades "that raise a student's average" will be recorded.Story here. I've been trying to write out the mathematical formula for how this would be accomplished, but I can't figure out where the "average" comes from.
As to the parents who are outraged about this, just ask for your money back and go somewhere else. Oh, wait...
